termination of Ms. Susan Mugwe from her post with
Peace Corps, Kenya, and ask you to consider all that
Ms. Mugwe has brought to Peace Corps.
* Susan Mugwe fully espoused Peace Corps mission.
* Susan Mugwe possesses an extraordinary ability to
traverse cultures. With her fluency in Kenyan sign
language and her skills of engagement, she was
responsible for the rapid growth and continual success
of the deaf education program.
* Susan Mugwe improved and expanded upon other
programs, including HERV, Crisis Corps, SPA, and
projects like Take our Daughters to Work.
* Susan Mugwe worked tirelessly to ensure volunteers
were competent and effective. She was consistently
insightful, supportive, resourceful and knowledgeable.
