Swansea Public School Junior Grades Class Size Petition

We the parents of Swansea Public School are demanding that the Toronto District School Board (TDSB) provide two (2) additional teachers in the junior division, one for the Extended French Program and one for the English stream to ensure that the school is adequately supported. This is due to:
• Extremely large Class size, between 34 to 38 students(depending on the time of day) in a 4/5 split class which is unacceptable; and
• Significantly different skill levels, particularly in the 4/5 split Extended French class, where half of the class will have had no formal exposure to French.
Please add your name in support of the addition of two teachers in the junior division at Swansea Public School.
