HELP US REINSTATE
Ms DORITA, Ms LUBA and Ms MARIANNE
On July 30th 2010, the three teachers from Playgroup 1 at the JCC were fired from their positions. All were extremely well respected and loved by the parents, the children they had taught over the years, and their fellow members of staff.
Ms Dorita is an outstanding teacher who has cared and taught for children for over 15 years, never once being written up or reprimanded at all. All three women are aware, as are we the undersigned parents and members of staff, that the severity of leaving a young child unattended in the playground for any length is of time is completely unacceptable. However, we feel the punishment of being fired is too severe. We are calling for their punishment please to be lessened to another disciplinary action such as a fine of their wages, probation, a cut in vacation time or something similar.
We feel it is the teachers who make the JCC such a special place to send our children, please bear our thoughts and wishes in mind and reinstate these the wonderful and caring teachers.
