On 18th May 2007, a letter was sent to
The Director
The CFA Institute of Charlottesville
The letter stated as to why AICTE should not take legal actions against the CFA institute for violations of regulations and adviced the CFA institution to cease operations in INDIA with immediate effect.
THIS ACADEMIC BOYCOTT HAS TO BE STOPPED IMMEDIATELY BECAUSE:
- It is counter to the universal principle of academic freedom
- It is a form of prejudice & discrimination; it unfairly singles out India
- It is counter-productive to peace & reconciliation
WE DEMAND:
- That the universal principle of academic freedom be respected
- That the boycott of Indian students be declared void (AICTE BEING RESPONSIBLE)
- That there be no discrimination of academics on grounds of nationality, ethnicity, religion, sex or race
BY SIGNING THIS PETITION YOU DECLARE YOUR OPPOSITION TO ANY ACADEMIC BOYCOTT, INCLUDING THAT OF INDIAN STUDENTS(AICTE BEING RESPONSIBLE).
One question which remains unanswered is what did AICTE get by doing such a thing 15 days before the exams?
An answer which i could find is incovinience to students.
AND IF ITS WHAT I THINK THEN SHALL AICTE EXIST?

CFA institute is global leader in Financial Education, AICTE should have done some preliminiary research before taking such a stupid decision. Thanks to indian red tapism , we are screwed.
