A banda The Academy Is começou na rivalidade entre o vocalista William Beckett, e o guitarrista Mike Carden. Hoje eles contam com a ajuda do baterista Andy "The Butcher" Bishop, o baixista Adam Siska, e o guitarrista Michael Guy; e o fiel camera man' Jack, The Camera Guy.
O primeiro CD da banda, o Almost Here foi lançado em Fevereiro de 2005 pela gravadora Fueled By Ramen. O CD foi um sucesso por todo o território norte americano, e não demorou a chegar nas terras brasileiras.
Hoje, os fãs brasileiros da banda já são muitos, e já apoiam o segundo CD - SANTI. O clipe "We've Got A Big Mess On Our Hands" já está na MTV Brasil, e nosso desejo agora é ver a banda ao vivo.
Através dessa petição, pedimos a todos os fãs (e aqueles que somente simpatizam com a causa) que assinem o mesmo e façam sua parte para que a banda The Academy Is apareça por aqui o mais rápido possível.

The Academy Is started with William Beckett (the vocal) and Mike Carden (the guitar player) as rivals. Today they count with Andy "The Butcher" (drumms), Adam Siska (bass player),Michael Guy (guitar player) and their awesome 'camera man': Jack, The Camera Guy.
Their first CD (Almost Here) was released in February 2005 by Fueled By Ramen. The CD was a hit all over the US and it didn't take long to get here in Brazil.
Today, the brazilian fans are growing and supporting their second CD - SANTI. The video of "We've Got A Big Mess On Our Hands" is already on MTV Brazil and now we want to see their concert.
Through this petition, we ask all the fans (and those that just want to help our cause)to sign and do your part. So that way The Academy Is will be here as quick as possible.
