The Beatleologist, We're Begging You To Please Get A Life

Beatleologist, it has come to the attention of most sane Beatles fans visit YouTube that you are a hopeless wreck; John Lennon died nearly 30 years ago, leaving behind a legacy of love and peace. Even though his death was untimely, he still knew that it was coming. As a matter of fact he fired his security guard two weeks before he was shot, telling him that that if "they" (at this point, John was being followed by the FBI, NOT Chapman) were going to get him they were going to get him, so there was no use putting his (the guard's) own life in danger.
And yet here you are nearly 30 years later, a sad, aging man who is bound by immense hatred for someone you don't know, and never will even try to get to know. A man who is still visited by his wife (who is still married to him!) and mother several times a year, a man who has maintained a near-perfect behavioral record whilst in prison for the past 28 years. Jack Jones, the author of Let me Take You Down: Inside The Mind of Mark David Chapman has interviewed MDC many times over the last 15 years and in an October 3, 1999 Court TV interview stated he personally felt that Mark David Chapman would never harm another human being again, and that he deeply and profoundly regretted the actions of his youth. But this man hasn't done enough time in your eyes. If we were speaking to you on YouTube you'd be cursing us and saying that we deserve to die just like Chapman. You've raised up an army of followers, that like you want to beat this man and shoot him to death when he is released from prison, even though neither you or anyone really knows if Mark David Chapman did it. There is growing evidence that would suggest that he is a patsy, but you'll never pay any heed to that because that would mean that all the anger, all the senseless hatred you've poured out over the years would have been in vain.

Enough is enough. We, the undersigned are begging you to get a life and get over this already. John is dead, George is dead, Paul's gonna die, and Ringo's gonna die! And you will die a lonely old man if you don't learn to love. And while he certainly didn't in 1980, by now Mark David Chapman certainly knows how to love.

He's a truer Lennon fan than you in that regard.
