The Days (ABC)- Keep it on air and move it to an earlier time slot

I am absolutely stunned at the fact that you are ending one of the best shows on the airwave, especially for ABC Television Network- The Days.

I got attracted to this show ever since the summer promotions. And I have been hooked on it since it started. I make sure I dont miss anything. Im disappointed that we viewers only get 6 episodes. This show is the best show there has been in a long time. Its a family-drama-slight comedy that the whole family can enjoy. Its a family show different then 7th heaven. And its good, because this show The Days is really close to reality it doesnt shy away from teen pregnancy, work breakdown, unemployment, trying to fit in, rejection, etc. It touches subjects that lot families might deal with. And its nice to see the family bond, and how they deal with things that get in the way of their daily lives. The show has got potential, the storylines are brilliant, and the actors could not be any more perfect for the roles.

I know that ratings have been so-so; but take a look at the fact: its a Sunday family show that starts at 10 p.m. and most people have to get up the next morning to go to school or work. And a lot of household will turn off their TV at 10 p.m. I strongly suggest you keep it on Sundays but move it to an earlier time slot. I mean why put Extreme Makeover or other similar show at earlier times, and then put a family show after. Your target should be the whole family. Teenagers, kids, Young Adults dont care for those shows such as extreme makeover, parents send them to bed or young adults rather rent movies or go online.
Theres no doubt if you move the time slot and keep the show on air, you will get an enormous amount of viewers. Try it, I mean what have you got to lose? What you could win is as much viewers as The O.C. picked up because of its good time slot.

This is disgust that television is showing more and more superficial things such as how to fix yourself instead enhancing self-acceptance. Those kind of things shouldnt be as advertised, unless its for people who really need an appearance fix. And even so, those things should be private not display nationwide. There is less and less privacy in this world.

Final words: Please, please, please bring back The Days back through fall and put it on a night that will grab more viewers, and at an earlier time, then 10p.m. Please give us at least 2, 3 seasons.
