The Happier Neopia

To the Neopets Staff,
Most rules are unreasonable and too strict. The people of Neopia feel unfairly treated. Since the beginning of Neopets, the rules have adapted to be too tight.
Neopets was a site created to entertain, and provide somewhat of a fun environment, correct? Fun requires some freedom, and that we do not have. We have begun to feel suffocated by unnecessary strictness.
General Chat was removed from the site about a year or so ago, correct? And you expect us to go on the boards with no opinion and no clue we live in a real world. People are often recieving warnings because they're posting something about real life or something opinion based, and this is not fair. Everyone analyzes things differently, and not everything is compiled from pure fact.
By not having a general chat, you are restricting our individuality, which is something that should be appreciated. Having a General Chat would also reduce the number of what you consider to be "behavioural problems."
As for the remaining "behavioural problems", we really feel that you need to let loose. A lot. Less than half of what you would consider to be offensive, sexual, political, or religious is really in the context of a discussion that could escalate into a fight, and if the discussion is under control and no one is being offended than nothing is being hurt. We think that you should be more aware of our maturity, because we can be structured like normal human beings when the need occurs. You are warning and freezing FAR too often over LITTLE THINGS that were never even problems that needed to be dealt with.
Warnings and freezing are unfortunatley sometimes necessary. But sometimes mistakes are made when these consequences are enforced. We feel it would be easier if you not only went a LOT lighter with these, but also included detail or a copy of the text in which you broke a rule, to cut confusion. There are bigger problems with frozen accounts.
When someone's account is frozen by mistake (Which has been happening all to often lately...) you have the option to contact support about the issue in hopes to recieve it back. Not only does support sometimes wait WEEKS to respond, but when they do, they are very rude and not at all understanding. They do not listen and ask for unreasonable proof of your innocence in the issue. We think staff should be quite a bit nicer and more understanding of the problems we have.
The above are things that could help make Neopets a happier, friendlier, and more comfortable environment. Neopians only want to be able to breathe!
