The Right to Purchase On-Farm Food or Food Products

We, the undersigned, deserve the right or privilege to purchase foods that contain NO antibiotics, pesticides, herbicides or any toxic chemical that our local, state, or federal governments says may be used in farming (Chemical Farming). We also deserve the right or privilege to purchase items straight from the farm itself. We want HB124 to be passed so that we may purchase these items without harassment from our local, state and federal governments.
HB124 states in its entirety:
No rule or regulation shall prohibit or restrict any person from selling food or food products grown or processed on his farm to any customer provided that: (i) the food or food products are sold on the farm on which they are produced; (ii) the food or food products are sold to the customer for personal consumption and shall not be sold for reuse, including restaurant sales; and (iii) the food or food products are marked with the following: Not for Resale, Produced Without State Inspection. Any customer who resells food or food products bought at the farm under this section shall be guilty of a Class 4 misdemeanor.
We, the undersigned, support the passage of HB124.This bill is for the on-farm sale of food and food products.
