The Florida House and Senate are voting to drastically cut funding for services provided for Tier One behavioral service for the coming fiscal year by capping reimbursement to those facilities providing these services.

These facilities will be unable to continue to operate in a manner that will properly care for and keep their "clients" safe.

These facilities will have to discharge their clients by July 1, 2010 due to the lack of funding.

We the undersigned request that the Florida House and Senate not cut or cap funding to support Tier One programs that are so beneficial to the individuals who need them as well as the community
