This petition is to stop the El Paso Energy Corporation from exploring and drilling for oil in one of the most beautiful natural forests in the United States. The Valle Vidal needs to be preserved for it's beauty, recreational purposes such as no trace camping and hiking, and for wildlife. It would be horrible if this natural gem was lost to a company which should be exploring alternate energy developement.
