Vegetarian food at AKKA conferences

The following petitioners who are members of Kannada associations and who have participated in the AKKA (Association of Kannada Kootas of America which is an organization for Kannada kootas of North America) conferences, here by petition the AKKA executive committee to separate the vegetarian and non-vegetarian food items in the food stalls at the AKKA conferences. Lot of people who come to AKKA are vegetarians. Separating the vegetarian and non-vegetarian items in different parts of the room or in different partitions or in different tables is needed to provide the vegetarians a pleasant and nice dining experience at the AKKA conferences.

We hope the AKKA executive committee will consider this request for the future conferences. Lot of vegetarians were turned off by the food arrangements at this year's AKKA convention.
