This petition is to get an unofficial count of Virginia residents interested in Jeep license plates for their vehicles. Signing this position in no way guarentees that you will recieve a set of plates, it only gives us a general count of those interested in participating. As of yet, a design has not been finalized. Feel free to submit any plate designs, design suggestions, or questions to [email protected] A website has been set up so that plate designs can be showcased. At a given deadline (not yet set) no new designs will be considered & a voting will commence to to decide which design will be submitted for approval. Once the chosen design is submitted & approved, 350 pre-paid applications will be required in order for the plates to go into production. The application & plate fee (due ONLY AFTER a design has been approved by the General Assembly) will be $25, as mandated by the state of Virginia.
For personalized plates, there will be a 6 character limit (including spaces) or 5 characters for disabled plates.
