The Longest Journey is the one of the highest rated games of 2000 (most sites giving it at least over 90\% [http://www.gamerankings.com/htmlpages2/3435.asp]) and truly an adventure game that single-handedly resurrected its genre from the grave.
Sadly, the game has only just reached the States a few months ago where the mass market is, and even though it has been hailed by many (including myself and many reviewers) as the greatest game that has ever graced the surface of this planet, most people out there still does not even know the game exists. This is the reason it has not been getting a lot of sales. Therefore, it is not on the priority list of Funcom to make a sequel.
But here is the opportunity to make your voice heard! WE WANT A SEQUEL!!! Funcom, give us life!!!
