We the undersigned are concerned citizens of the IL 9th district. We are faced this year with a real election choice between Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky and her opponent Joel Pollak. With the significant number of issues in this election including healthcare reform, jobs and foreign policy we deserve an opportunity to have a true debate. Joel Pollak has asked the Congresswoman numerous times to debate including October 27th at 7pm at the Holiday Inn Skokie on Touhy and there has been no response. We would like to strongly encourage Congresswoman Schakowsky to accept the debate challenge and take the opportunity to explain her views and positions to her constituents.
