We, the Undersigned, wish to petition Foxtel, Optus , Austar, TARBS to include a fully dedicated Soccer channel to it's line-up of Television Channels.
In a country where more then half of all its residents are from cultural backgrounds where soccer has become a way of life and one which wishes to increase the popularity of this code, we the understated put forward our wish of a 24 hour soccer dedicated channel.
We feel that such a channel should include not only the current showings of European soccer but also from other parts of the world. This channel should include soccer from continents like South America, Asia, Central and North America as well as Africa and our own NSL.
This channel could be used as the means necessary to promote our National Soccer League and the code to the future of this country.
We would be extremely grateful for a fully dedicated Soccer Channel possibly one like in the United States (GolTv) or United Kingdom (Premiership Channel).
