5/17/07 - Unfair Bannings of Maplestory

On the night of Thursday, May 17th, 2007, three characters on three different Nexon accounts were banned permanently for the following reason:

Illegal Charging/funding of Nexon Cash (also referred to as NX).

We feel this is a mistake on Nexons part. To quote Nexon on their NEXON Cash Guide:
Any act of NEXON Cash trading/selling or unauthorized/fraudulent charging is in direct violation of the Terms of Use and all such violators will be subject to account termination without warning.

No such act was made. As far as the card holder is aware of, not only were there not any reports of fraud made, but there was no trading/selling of in-game items either.

On May 2nd, 2007, a total of 60$ was charged total between the 3 accounts. NX was available to use for all 3, and there was no problem on that day. The credit card holder responsible for the charges is the parent of Luvish, and were made with permission. On May 3rd, 2007, more charges were attempted to be made (again, with permission) between two of the accounts, but on the last transaction page, there was nothing there (ex: No billing statement like there was the day before.) The account users had thought this was a just a minor glitch on the site, and kept attempting to charge, however, at the end of the day there was no NX available to either user attempting. Turns out on May 7th, the credit card holder had been charged an excess 155$ under the name Nexon America, yet there was not any NX to account for these charges. A fraud on Nexons part should have been made by the card holder, but instead, the holder has been trying to reach Paypal as well as Nexon America through e-mail for some kind of justification on these charges.

Luvish, the owner of the Paypal account used Level 85 Crusader (Also on this account are the characters Kaeleys and Laurasaur)
