For too long People in Queensland and New South Wales have suffered the injustice by TV stations and the AFL regarding coverage (other than Brisbane or Sydney games) of the AFL...This Petition is for all the weary, blurry eyed Roaches and Cane toads supporters of Aussie Rules to get a better deal from all parties involved in current and future TV rights negotiations. WE WANT A FAIR GO!! AFL is the number one sport in Australia...Australia's only True original sport so ALL Australians, everywhere should be able to view it fairly! The Following is what we feel we deserve up North!
By Signing this Petition you agree with the following statements:
1. WE DEMAND!, Live Coverage of ALL FINALS
2. PRIME TIME COVERAGE OF A VARIETY OF AFL GAMES (Rather than some pathetic oft repeated movie in the same time slot, burkes backyard (or its equivalent) or even Australias fastest dying sport Rugby League!)
3. FULL REPLAYS (Not one team kicks the first goal of the game and after a commercial break we rejoin the coverage in the 3rd QTR!)
4. Greater sensitivity if a coverage is delayed...(how many times have you waited up to see a game only to hear some moron on national nine news, sports tonight or fox footy give away the scores right before the game is about to begin!)
5. To acknowledge that there are supporters of other clubs up here other than Brisbane or Sydney and that LIVE or Prime Time Coverage of those other 14 teams be shown.

Had no problems viewing all games until the current contract involving channels 9 and 10. Channel 7 did a good job with it's interstate commitments to AFL viewers, unlike channel 9 who relegate us to second best to Rugby in the Northern States.
