A petition for the immediate resignation of Sepp Blatter and the FIFA executive Committee

We, the undersigned, call for the immediate resignation of the incompetent and corrupt Executive Committee at the Fйdйration Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), and in particular its president, Joseph S. (Sepp) Blatter.

This man has single-handedly contrived to transform our beautiful game into a farcical lottery, where the cheat, the conniver, the chisler nearly always wins over honest endeavour, a game where results often hinge on ludicrous decisions by referees placed under intolerable pressure by their masters in Zurich.

In addition, his increasingly unhinged suggestions about changes to the laws of the game (such as removing the offside rule) and his ill-judged comments about individual teams at the 2006 World Cup show him to be a man who is losing his grip on reality. This is hardly the kind of administrator we want at the top of The World's Game.

Blatter is a clown who should be retired and sent to a home for the bewildered for his own safety.

Let's kick Blatter out of football!
