A request for a Quake 4 expansion pack

The Quake community would like to request the development of an expansion pack for Quake 4. Considering the ending of Quake 4 was left open, an expansion tying up current the storyline is an acceptable request.
A new single player campaign, new multiplayer maps, a new game mode and weapons, monsters and items would all be appreciated.
Whether id, Raven or Splash Damage or any company that feels that they are up to the challenge of extending the Quake storyline and universe is welcome to apply, as long as it is an official expansion.
