A single TV broadcast for each AMA Supercross and Motocross event

A few years ago, ESPN decided to split the coverage of each AMA Supercross event into two one-hour programs; one program dedicated to the 125cc class, and another separate program dedicated to the 250cc class. Since that time, we the undersigned have experienced less satisfaction with the TV coverage of said events. This can be attributed to two primary factors:
a) We, the viewers, get less racing coverage. When the races were aired as a single two hour program, the program included coverage of both 250cc semi-final qualifying races. Those races have now been omitted, so we now get less racing coverage within the same two hours of television coverage. Since the entire purpose of tuning into ESPN2 for the supercross coverage is of course to watch the racing, we find the decision to actually show less racing coverage quite odd and unfortunate.
b) Due to the historically unreliable nature of ESPN2s ability to air the supercross races at their posted times, and since the two supercross broadcasts are not necessarily shown back-to-back, it is now twice as difficult for viewers to actually tune in and watch the supercross broadcasts. Moreover, making viewers wait hours and sometimes days between broadcasts of the 125 and 250cc events is quite inconvenient. Viewers must now track 32 separate airings of Supercross coverage in order to watch all 16 rounds of AMA Supercross.
In summary, it can be said that splitting each supercross event into two broadcasts has resulted in less racing coverage, and a greater degree of difficulty to actually watch the broadcasts. Considering the vast advances that supercross has made over the years as far as attendance, outside sponsorship, quality of the show, etc., it is quite a shame that the television broadcasts have actually taken steps backwards while the rest of the sport continues to make large strides forward.
In closing, we the undersigned are extremely grieved to discover that this years coverage of the AMA Motocross series has now also been split into two separate television shows per event. We sincerely hope that this petition will prompt ESPN to reconsider their broadcast strategy of AMA Supercross and Motocross events, and return the coverage back to a format that Supercross and Motocross fans enjoy: A single broadcast per race event.
