The childrens at risk register is a risk in itself.It should be abolished.
Any child found to be at risk should be removed from that risk immediatly.
Not put on a list where few and far between checks are made and sometimes ignored.
If a child is thought to be in danger,a register isn't going to keep that child safe from harm.Removal from the source of danger will.
Lessons HAVE to be learnt from the case of Baby Peter.The Register didn't save him from harm,suffering and then his horrific death.Intervention and removal would have.
Don't let the death of baby P and all the other little children who have died or are still suffering be in vain.It's time to act NOW!
