afc wimbledon face harsh punishment

We are afc wimbledon and we have been thrown out of the FA trophy and been told to give back 12,000 in prize money , we also have had 18 points deducded from us by the ryman league and we see this punishment as harsh. The crime we did, was not get international clerence for an english player, playing in the english league and in the fa cup for cardiff, we know we have made a mistake and knew we would face a punishment but we feel the punishment recieved to be very harsh.
