THIS IS ONLY REGARDING ENJOYING A PREMIUM HAND ROLLED CIGAR IN A LICENSED CIGAR LOUNGE.  THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH BRINGING BACK SMOKING IN BARS OR RESTAURANTS.  IF YOU HAVE ANY HOBBY AND YOU DO NOT WANT YOUR FREEDOM TAKEN AWAY, PLS READ AND SIGN IN SUPPORT. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.

IF YOU ENJOY THE OCCASIONAL PREMIUM HAND ROLLED CIGAR.. PLS SIGN!  IF YOU DON'T ENJOY THE OCCASIONAL PREMIUM HAND ROLLED CIGAR.. PLS SIGN!    FREEDOMS ARE BEING STOLEN DAY BY DAY.  PLS SIGN IN SUPPORT AND MAKE A CHANGE!

Approx 10 years ago, the smoking ban came into effect, pretty well across Canada. With this ban, the politicians in our great Country and Province also banned people from enjoying a premium hand rolled cigar in a cigar lounge!!  People that do not smoke premium hand rolled cigars are not aware of this.  When I mention this to them, they all say the same thing.."I knew you couldn't smoke in restaurants and bars, but Cigar lounges, that's ridiculous!!"  The taxes on our cigars compared to Cuban prices, are sometimes 4 times the amount, but yet, we cannot light that premium cigar up, in our lounges. They have no problem selling the cigars to us, but we cannot smoke them in a comfortable leather chair while enjoying a fine spirit, in a ventilated cigar lounge.  High end Cigar lounges such as Churchills of Birmingham in Birmingham Michigan, the World Famous Cigar Bar in Fort Myers Florida, and thousands more that are opening up across the U.S are making millions of dollars and people enjoy them.  Churchills in Michigan just opened up last summer.  They are so busy that they cannot even take a reservation unless it falls on a Monday or Tuesday because they are packed every night.  If that doesn't tell you something, I don't know what does.  People enjoy an occasion cigar and they would prefer it indoors with other cigar enthusiast's. The premium cigar industry is a luxury for adults to enjoy on occasion.  Our Government needs to stop blanketing smoking under cigarettes, which are inhaled and are addictive.  There is nothing more relaxing to many people, than to light up a premium hand rolled cigar and sit back enjoying good friends, good conversation and a cocktail on occasion.  These are things that should be allowed in this great Country of Canada.  People have had enough with rules and restrictions from our nanny state.  Adults can make their own choice to go into a cigar lounge knowing there will be smoke, or decide to not enter.

I ask you to pls sign even if you do not like cigars or smoking.  This really isn't about smoking, it's about adults being able to make a decision on a luxury enjoyment on a fully legal product.  It's about business owners paying taxes, being able to make their own decisions on allowing this or not in their cigar lounge.  Everywhere around the world there are smoking bans, but none of them stopped licensed cigar lounges or tobacconists from allowing smoking in their place of business.  It's like saying to someone they can buy a burger at a fast food place, but you have to eat the burger outside.  It just doesn't make sense.

Kindest regards,

Justin
