Apple to Create and Distribute iMovie for Windows

I represent myself, as well as the undersigned, which wish for Apple Computer, Inc. to create, market, sell, and distribute the product iMovie for Windows (all platforms) with respect to and permission from Microsoft Corporation.

Our (hereby declaring our to be the undersigned) reasons for the creation of this petition are as follows:

a) The mainstay Windows program for film making and film editing, Windows Movie Maker, is not subject to our satisfaction, and/or iMovie is a better product
b) Other movie editing applications that can run on Windows (i.e Final Cut) are too complex, too obscure, beyond the budget of some consumers, or generally not meeting expectations, or a combination of any or all of the above mentioned

It is my opinion (not necessarily of the undersigned) that Windows Movie Maker is sub-par and
exceedingly difficult to utilize in the process of making movies. Furthermore, I have used iMovie in numerous other occasions and found it to meet my needs in film editing.

Therefore, we respectfully suggest that Apple Computer, Inc. distribute an edition of iMovie especially for Windows.
