APPLE TO USE POWERPC CPUs AGAIN IN THEIR COMPUTERS!
This a petition to Apple for them to start using PowerPC CPUs in their machines once again. I believe this should happen because the MAC OS X on a PC is becoming a big joke and anyone who buys an Intel Mac just to put Windows on it is plain wrong and should not happen!
The new IBM PowerPC chips are way faster than any current Macs, or Intel processors! It is about time that Apple should be able to say "THINK DIFFERENT" again and start selling machines that are different because until they went to Intel, Macs were different and were loved as Macs! NOT AS PCs IN A MAC CASE!
OK I understand that people want to run windows software on their macs and now can properly it properly, but then it makes no sense to have a mac if you want windows. Macs have lots of software too. If it's games your worried about then buy a PC they're cheap and most Macs have bad graphics cards anyway!
Plus if Apple were to go back to PowerPC they could get games companies to port over games as they used to.
Plus if Apple were really intent on having windows apps run on the Mac for some reason they could put an Intel CPU along side the PowerPC which would do the processing for windows apps and the PowerPC for Mac apps.
This would stop the Windows on a Mac thing and makes Macs superior to PCs again! They could even use the IBM Cell processor which is PowerPC to power their Macs. Maybe even give a cheap part-exchange for Intel Macs.
As you can tell I am an Apple purist to the PPC architecture as I have used Intel Macs and they just don't feel the same. Plus a lot of backwards compatibility has been lost.
Please sign this petition if you would like to see REAL MACS once again giving the PC the finger like they used to!
