"Aqua safety for Keiki"

For the safety and well being of our keiki (children who enjoy aqua activities at Kapa'a Public swimming pool.)
We the undersigned are requesting to the Mayor and Head of the Department of Parks & Recreation and all Lifeguards that lane lines be re-instated to protect children from running into adults that are swimming laps.
We are requesting the far mauka two lanes be reserved for lap swimmers as to insure the safety of both the children and adults.
This procedure was ongoing until May of 2008 when the current head Lifeguard decided against it.
Please reconsider putting up the lane lines, it only takes 2 minutes and insures the safety of our keiki and the lap swimmers will not have to worry about dodging all the children jumping in the water.
