This OFFICIAL web petition is for WebTV IRC users! No "add your name and forward" version of a petition will
ever work because it cannot be validated. If you CARE
about the freedom of use of custom IRC's at Talk City , and if you are sick of Talk City's unfair treatment,
please sign this petition, even if you have already
signed one similar!
Talk City says that the use of WebTV IRC's has caused problems with the Code of Conduct, flooding of rooms,
ect.. Well, this is NOT true!!! They know as well as we do that a persons conduct has to do with that person,
NOT the IRC that person is using. A person can cause the same amount of misconduct without an IRC! Humm.. so why is are freedom of choice in the way in which we chat being questioned? Good question huh? I like to think so.
So, here's the point..Talk City, you have taken allot of privileges from us, (messaging whole other rooms,
/ignore feature, banning of nicks because of a silly
number, on & on..) don't take away one of the coolest
thing about chatting on your server... or any server. As I'm sure you'll see, the people who have made Talk City what it is..your "Citizens", will be outraged. This will cause more problems then it's worth, promise you!

i don't think that it wil be right if you take irc's away from us.You will lose alot of people.Some people just got web tv and learned how to do everything and you are trying to take it away from us
