Ban anime now! Anti-Petition.

This is an Anti-Petition for the Ban Anime now! organization. I've studied their petition, And frankly,I don't know why there's hatred towards anime, You see those things in television all the time, not to mention even free local channels have some of it. Only picking one kind of entertainment and shooting it into the spotlight will do nothing. As for quotes such as "The dark land of Japan", I find that offensive, Extremely offensive. I being japanese myself, And "japanese filth"? Are you calling artwork filth? The only thing youre doing is corrupting minds themselves, Sheltering people from something that is harmless. As for their examples, Those are clearly labeled, 18+ on the box and Dvd cases. If it did get into their childs's hands, It must've passed by their's. There are other kinds of anime with many kinds of genres. Anime isnt a Scourge upon your beautiful nation, Its a way to make this country diverse. To teach them of some customs in japan and to show the artwork that is lived up to in that country. They based their petition into only two series, There is a wide variety of Anime. From Romance to Horror, Like movies and soap operas in a Designed way. I don't want to offend any christians, neither offend any of the people who singed their petitions, but its simply useless to destroy a part of entertainment from our hands, simply because they don't know enough about it.
I am 17 years old, going to school, and working. I watch anime becuase the things on TV don't interest me. I won't be penalized for having my culture in my house. They won't take my culture away from me. Anime is for everyone, just like movies, They have their limits as well, They're all at an age level, If the Ban Anime Now! organization would think more of parenting their children, Rather then spewing slander and racism, over their Beautiful nation, Then they're eyes would be open to my culture as i am to their's.This is suppose to be a country of diversity and equality, If they can't handle my culture grasping the imagination of their childern, then they should simply seek into better parenting.
