Banning All "Extraordinary Rendition" Flights from Ireland

As an Irish citizen, I have become very concerned about the use of Shannon airport as a stop-off point for CIA planes which have been known to be used for "extraordinary renditions", whereby U.S. officials secretly transfer individuals, without any hint of due process, for interrogation by countries that are known to practice state sanctioned torture and murder.
Not only does this practice compromise our neutrality, it is also an affront to our nation's dignity and humanity.
As I'm sure you are aware, this illegal practice runs contrary to international and European law, and the International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance which our country has signed up to as of March 2007, as well as the European Convention on Human Rights.
I strongly urge you to put in place a policy of banning these flights from our country completely.
I trust you will consider this without any undue political influence.
