Banning/removal of a sex offender from TFN territory

5 weeks ago I found out my cousin who is only 14 years old had been raped. She was living with the man who raped her for most of her life; she trusted in him to keep her safe. It first happened when she was 13 years old. I am a 16 year old girl from a First Nation tribe on Vancouver Island (Tla-o-qui-aht First Nations) and I am helping this young lady, I am doing all I can to have him removed from the reserve. I see the terror In her eyes everyday. She tells me how she feels; it got to a point where this young women was sleeping with a knife under her mattress to protect herself from him. The offender is staying two houses around from her, she can't sleep at night because she is always scared. Her grandmother is her guardian, and they come over to my place every morning so she can catch the bus because her offender is right across from her bus stop and he use to watch her before she got on the bus. I want to keep her safe! I want to keep the young children who live in the community safe! I want to keep my sister safe! And I want to stop this stuff from ever happening again. Please help me, I am doing all that I can... Every 2 minutes someone in this world is getting sexual assaulted... And I want it to stop. I am thinking globally... Help me help her and her grandmother..., Something needs to be done... Please.
