We, the undersigned, request that BBC4 commission "Goth Britannia" as part of the "... Britannia" strand which has featured such documentaries as Synth Britannia and Soul Britannia over the last few years. The gothic/alternative subculture has been around for decades now and refuses to go away. It has had no musical representation on television since a few token performances on shows like Snub TV in the 80s. According to the website, "The BBC is committed to embracing diversity". What better way to demonstrate this commitment than to commission a programme like this. Remember: goths are licence payers too...
