Dear Town of Markham,
I am one of the many people in this region who have been drawn towards the Markham skate park for its unique design and great atmosphere. My friends and I rode our bikes over hoping for a place to ride. We were disappointed when we saw a sign that said No Bikes Allowed. I asked fellow skateboarders what they thought and they said that they dont mind us being there. We follow certain rules when we are at skate parks. Let the skaters do there line, than we do ours. Bikers and skateboarders have been getting along all over the world. I have been to many skate parks where we have been able to co-mingle together and have a great time. I know that sending security over to kick bikers out is a waste of their time and a waste of ours. All I ask is that you let us in the skate park. We want to do what we love most in this world and we believe that bylaws and fines shouldnt keep us from that.

I completely agree, I was chased by the police for riding at the park, din't do anything wrong whatsoever. I just wanna ride the park without worrying about being arrested.
