We the fans of the musicians BON JOVI have signed this petition to show you why BON JOVI deserve to be back on MTV.
We feel you have been unfair with your lack of support and unprofessional with the rude comments made on air by MTV's staff.
In July 2001 the following employees of MTV were guests on "The Charlie Rose show. The guests were : Tom Freston (CEO/Chairman), Judy McGrath (President), Carson Daly (TRL Host) & Kurt Loder (News/VJ)
Here's some of Charlie Rose's question & MTV's Staff's answers;
1) He asked if mtv was about money ?
answer:At first there was no reply, Carson Daly finally answered with: MTV is all about music, We dont want to exclude any audience.
* MTV does exclude an audience, BON JOVI's FANS !
They ended the show by saying "240 million ppl watch MTV"
* Thats 240 million people who NEVER get the chance to decide whether they like or dislike the band.
Bon Jovi's last album "Crush" was given little airplay on MTV .
Your VJ's (including Carson) went as far as making fun of BON JOVI and their fans when they voted them onto TRL.
