We believe that the original Top Of The Pops format should be brought back to TV.
The show used to be good when it had performances from artists who were new in the charts that week. Then the BBC started including "exclusives" and new tracks which weren't even released yet.
Top Of The Pops was always about chart music, and that's what made it successful for over 40 years. As soon as the format was changed, people stopped watching it.
This petition is for people who believe Top Of The Pops should be brought back to how it used to be - with performances of new entries in the chart.

I feel sad knowing that a program like this has be removed. It is a crown jewel of the BBC and even if it is not catching the light at the moment doesnt mean we should get rid of it
