As members, fans or supporters of the Melbourne Storm Rugby League Football Club, we would like to register our feelings regarding the change in costume for the Storm Man character. Storm Man has been an iconic feature of the club since it's inception, and the change to celebrate the 10th anniversary is a move in the wrong direction. We would like to remind the club that the logo of the Storm still retains the iconic imagery of Storm Man and that the colour dark blue is still a major part of our club identity.
We would like to ask the Club to return Storm Man to it's original identity, and to remember that the colours of the club are Blue, Purple, Gold and White. We would also ask the club to refrain from their moves to remove Blue from the colours of the club, in both on-field and off-field merchandise.

I do not like the lavender 'bucket head' and was more than happy with the old Storm Man.

That thing is ugly. I feel as if I knew Storm man and now he's dead. Whatever that thing was I saw last Saturday, I hope it too dies a quick death and the Original and ONLY storm man is reborn!
