Recently, Tokio Hotel's small (but growing!) North American fanbase was dealt a blow when we found out that Tokio Hotel's English-language album, "Scream," would be released in the UK only. Now, it is being said that they're 'testing the waters' by debuting in the UK, and if it works out there, they will come here. Some of us hear that, and think it is merely an excuse. The US, Canadian, and UK music scenes are all very different, and failure (or success) in one country doesn't necessarily mean they'll have the same result in another, simply because they share a common language.
This petition is to show Tokio Hotel and their management that there ARE fans here, and that we should matter every bit as much as the European fans. This is a band with a reputation for caring about what their fans think and feel, yet the North American fanbase doesn't seem to show up on their radar.
Sign this petition (even if you're NOT from North America and just want to show us your support) to let Tokio Hotel know that their fans here WANT to see them live, and WANT to be able to buy their CDs in local shops. We're every bit as devoted and loyal as their other fans, and all we want is a chance to show them that. So, please sign, because the more signatures we have, the more likely they (and Universal Music) are to take notice.
