Bring U2 to Calgary

Being huge U2 fans living in the oft-neglected city of Calgary, we were saddened by the lack of Calgary shows in the first leg of U2's Vertigo tour. Now, with the announcement of their third leg starting in September with no Calgary dates to speak of, we demand our U2! We gave the band two sold-out and raucous evenings in April 2001 on their Elevation tour, and we would be much more than happy to do the same again. We know that U2 has a 9-day layoff between Vancouver on April 29 and Chicago in May 7, and while we understand their need for a break, they must understand our need for a fix of the best live band in the world. We will shout until they hear us and bring U2 to Calgary, either in April, or in the fall as suits them best.
