We the Family and Friends of Vernon Robinson humbly submit this petition in fervent support of his parole release.
In addition to his family and friends, Mr. Robinsons efforts to gain parole have been supported by prison officials and counselors, medical staff, attorneys and former inmates.
Although under conditions of adversity, Mr. Robinson through his courage and perseverance has continually exhibited unique abilities to help others via his work as a clerk in the prisons law library. With this in mind we urge your profound consideration of Mr. Robinsons parole release.
Further, we solemnly pledge to each member of this Board that we will take a proactive role in Mr. Robinsons life, if and when you grant his plea. This includes all of the resources at our disposal -- including personal, professional and financial -- to ensure the success of his adaptation to life outside of prison walls, which we pray, will be soon forthcoming.
