As of late, the programming of World Wrestling Entertainment has included very little wrestling. This petition is requesting more wrestling content on the two main programs of World Wrestling Entertainment Raw and Smackdown which would replace other content such as long promos, interviews, vignettes, and comical segments. As the true fans of wrestling, we were the few who watched your television shows during the WCW/WWF war, we were the few who stuck with the WWEs programming through the times when the company was bordering bankruptcy, and we were the few who watched World Wrestling Entertainment when it actually contained wrestling. For us die hard fans, wrestling is what we watch your television programs for, and we are constantly disappointed in the lack of quality wrestling (from males, females, and teams), plots, and characters on your programs. We ask not for the entertainment value of the programs to be reduced, but for the source of entertainment to be shifted from sexual situations and sophomoric humour to incredible athleticism and captivating matches. As your loyal fans, rather than those who came from the popularity of the new Attitude, we request this out of respect for what kept your business going during the trying years wrestling.
