Burlington Township Skate Park

With the growing number of skateboarders in Burlington Township, as well as the surrounding areas, it is necessary that a public, free-of-charge, skate park be built for skateboarders to use. Without a skate park, skateboarders must drive miles away to find a decent one, which can sometimes cost the same in road fees as it would to go to a private, indoor park. A free, well-designed, skate park would benefit not only Burlington Township residents, but all of Burlington County and farther. Burlington Township has around 100 sports fields/courts, and other miscellaneous such as playgrounds, horseshoe pits, bike paths, swimming, and fishing areas; yet nothing accommodating to skateboarders exists. We, who sign this petition, support the development of a new skate park being built in Burlington Township, New Jersey.
