We, the undersigned, request that Canon USA repair or replace, at no additional cost to the consumer, all Mini DV camcorders that they have sold in the United States that have malfunctioning tape mechanisms.
We also believe that consumer's should get years of trouble-free use out of the camcorders they purchased from Canon instead of minimal use as a result of jammed tape mechanisms.
We also believe that consumer's expectations of years of trouble-free use is not unreasonable due to the substantial amounts of money paid for these camcorders.
We also request that Canon reimburse all consumers for amounts paid to have these tape mechanisms repaired
We strongly believe that Canon should stand behind their products.
