Dear Mr. Gallups,
You recently produced a YouTube video in which you stated the Deepwater Horizon explosion is some sort of punishment for the Obama administration's recent announcement that it will no longer automatically veto anti-Israel resolutions before the UN Security Council.
This suggestion is horribly insensitive, callous, inappropriate and out of touch with this tragedy. It is a slap in the face to all the workers who had to wait hours to be rescued, as well as the families of those who died.
Moreover, it is also wrong. Nearly all evidence gathered since the explosion indicates that it was the result of staggering, and possibly criminal, negligence by BP.
We, the undersigned, insist that you apologize to the survivors of this tragedy for making such an insensitive statement.
