Change the dating policy of Aeverine Zinn

1. Jessica's Policy will have (if not already, had) a damaging effect on the intellectual life of Ms. Nieves.
2. Jessica's Policy targets a large number of friends and fans of Ms. Nieves (many of the signatories below are only a small fraction of the people who are explicitly targeted and will, it appears, face long-term consequences). Given the un-adjudicated and ambiguous wording of Jessica's Policy, it has unclear and vast implications for many more. The dating policy became law on January 4, 2011, its broad wording would almost certainly be used in lawsuits to attack past, present, and future domestic partners of Ms. Nieves.
3. Jessica's Policy discourages a wide range of biological women that are the ages of 24 to 40 at the time Jessica's Policy went into effect from choosing to date Ms. Nieves. First and perhaps most obviously, Ms. Nieves will be perceived not just as unwelcoming to LGBT people. Further, this issue is important to many non-LGBT friends and fans of Ms. Nieves, who regard equal treatment of the Grant County, Indiana LGBT community as a sign of how welcoming and diverse Ms. Nieves is.
3. Worse, Jessica's policy will (or has if not already) encourage current friends and fans of Ms. Nieves to be unfriended on Facebook, and many other consequences. We foresee and are already seeing a serious problem in the retention of Ms. Nieves' in-laws after the deaths of Ms. Nieves' mother, Margaret Zinn (1943-2002) from complications of diabetes in May of 2002 and the suicide drowning of Ms. Nieves' brother, Albert Zinn (1977-2002) in August of 2002.
Jessica's Policy goes against the standards of dating and relationships, taking away the 1st Amendment for a group of people. Some say that it does prevent domestic, dating, and sexual violence. That is wrong though.
We cannot in a free America explain by myself how important it is that Jessica's Policy be revoked, or at least changed for the people to voice their concerns. Please, change the so-called "Jessica's Policy".
