We call on Oxfordshire County Council and Charlbury Town Council to remove the 'historic market town' road signs, erected in June 2005; and to replace them with a design more fitting to Charlbury's location in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

These signs appear to have been vetted and approved by someone/persons whose only previous experience in road planning must have involved airport exits on motorways - absolutely hideous, irritating, not in keeping with the area and bugger all use! Get rid

I think the current signs are far to large, give misleading information and as far as I am aware were comissioned without any pubic debate or consulatation
