We, the undersigned, would like to see the Turangi case tried in the District Court, not Youth Court.
It is not acceptable, under any circumstances, to cause such grave injuries to a sleeping a child. Such a crime, with so many premeditated and violent undertones should be dealt with, with the full force of the law.
We would like to see the criminal serve the maximum Adult sentence pertaining to rape, grevious bodily harm and burglary.
