Due to economic stress, Idaho has limited funds
Our taxes should be used first to educate our children, then for
other State needs
The Health Freedom Act is a poor use of our tax dollars
o We do not have extra money to spend on litigation
o The lawsuit will continue without us
o The federal law allows Idaho to construct its own health care program
o The suit will likely go on for years, apparently committing Idaho to
an ongoing drain of tax funds
Because we believe that it is the responsibility of the elected officials of The State of Idaho to manage our tax dollars effectively, we the undersigned respectfully petition Lawrence Wasden, Attorney General of the State of Idaho, to withdraw Idaho from the multi-state lawsuit promulgated under The Health Freedom Act. We further Petition that the 2010-2011 Idaho Legislature redirect financial resources to support and improve primary and secondary education in the State.
