Collingwood Multiuse Facility - Include a Gymnasium

Help COLLINGWOOD include a GYMNASIUM (regulation and hardcourt) within the Multiuse Facility planning and development process !! WHY?? It will provide our Youth a facility to play/practice Basketball, Volleyball, Indoor Soccer outside of school or rep teams. It will offer a Extracurricular Leagues the option of expanding court time as their league grows in numbers along with Collingwood's population. It provides a venue for Town Functions and Special Events. ie. Kids Christmas Party, Voting Station, Blood Donor Clinic, etc. It will generate revenue through Membership fees, League Booking fees, Special Events and this will help pay for the cost of it. It is of nominal cost in comparison to an Indoor Arenas or Indoor Pool. (note, that by signing this, you are still IN SUPPORT of Arena and Pool) The Maintenance costs are reasonable re Heat / Air Cond, Floor Surfacing, etc. WHAT DOES YOUR SIGNATURE MEAN? BY SIGNING THIS PETITION, YOU ARE SIMPLY STATING YOUR SUPPORT FOR A REGULATION SIZE, HARDWOOD FLOOR GYMNASIUM. PLEASE HELP US ALL MAKE THE MULTIUSE FACILITY A GREAT PLACE FOR ALL FAMILIES IN THE COLLINGWOOD AREA!
