Colorado Cell Phone Driving Law

In the state of Colorado, it is illegal for anyone under the age of 18 to speak on a handheld cellular device while driving. While this is a reasonable law, it does not go far enough. The truth is, 30-to-39-year-old drivers have the highest percentage of cell phone related distracted driving accidents of any age group. (See: http://www.distraction.gov/stats-and-facts/)

The Colorado law banning talking on a handheld cellular device while driving should be extended to everyone operating a motor vehicle.
