We hope this will be a good enough medium so that we can respectfully congratulate you for the extraordinary work put into the production and direction of the cartoon series "Avatar, The Last Airbender", currently aired in the specialized channel Nickelodeon. Those signing below are loyal fans of this beautiful audiovisual work because of its deep plot, charismatic characters, beautiful art and animation, and excellent sounds and music department. Motivated by our deep admiration of this impressive animation work, we wish to share with you our feelings about its development, since we feel so close to you for giving us the chance to enjoy such a mystical series that has grasped our imagination and hearts.



It is gratifying and stimulating to learn of the buddhist teachings and philosophy through the main plot in Avatar, for it constitutes a world of spiritual development presented through quality entertainment, something most unusual in most cartoon series nowadays. Thanks to this, we have developed a great empathy towards the finely treated characters in this series, specially Zuko and Katara, who represent the Ying and the Yang which this series' spirituality manifests through.



It's of interest to note the amazing popularity of the alternative stories and the groups linked to fictitious relationships between characters, the "Zutaras" (Zu_ko / Ka_tara) among them who ,taking inspiration from the Ying and Yang principles, have linked both characters in an spontaneous way, without any official relation established in the series' plot, which indicates the strong influence of the Ying and Yang teachings among the viewers, who see this relation in a natural, instinctive way linked to the series' spiritual sense.



And, owing to this appreciation, an uncountable amount of communities have been formed in different countries, dealing with this relationship, where gifted people have created a completely parallel universe of great quality where their dreams and hopes for the characters are created, materialized through graphic art or "Fanart", alternative literature or "Fanfic", audiovisual works or "Fanvids", etc...



Every one of these stories and artistic expressions come from the same dream. They are a materialization of the aforementioned relationship. Of course, just for bringing us the chance to know and appreciate your wonderful work is good enough a prize for all of its fans, and we are really thankful for your great gift and talent as its creators, independently of what its end might be. But that aside, we wanted to share with you, first before anyone else, our great love for your amazing work, and in second place, to also share a little product, a seed sown in the imagination of a whole generation of young people expressed in multiple works, something that makes them all sowers of hopes and wishes in multiple lives. Los abajo firmantes somos asiduos seguidores de esta hermosa obra audiovisual por la profundidad de su contenido, carismбticos personajes, belleza visual, y excelente apartado sonoro. Es por ello que estimulados por nuestra profunda aficiуn a su impresionante obra animada, quisiйramos compartir con ustedes nuestro sentir acerca del desarrollo de la misma, ya que los percibimos con afecto y familiaridad por brindarnos la oportunidad de conocer una serie mнstica que nos ha cautivado.



Es gratificante y estimulante conocer las enseсanzas budistas en la historia central de Avatar, ya que constituye un mundo de desarrollo espiritual a travйs del entretenimiento de calidad, algo inusual en la mayorнa de las series animadas actuales. Es por ello que hemos desarrollado una gran empatнa por los personajes muy bien logrados de la serie, especialmente los personajes de Zuko y Katara, los cuales creemos representan el Ying Yang del cual se nutre la espiritualidad manifiesta en la serie. Es interesante el enorme auge que ha tenido las historias alternativas y los grupos vinculados a relaciones ficticias entre los personajes, entre ellos los denominados Zutaras (Zu_ko / Ka_Tara), que basбndose en el principio del Ying Yang han vinculado afectivamente a ambos personajes de manera espontбnea, sin que medie hasta el momento argumento oficial basado en la serie animada, lo que indica la fuerte influencia de las enseсanzas del Ying Yang entre los espectadores, que ven dicha relaciуn como algo natural e instintivo al sentido espiritual de la serie. En base a esa apreciaciуn se han desarrollado innumerables comunidades en distintos paнses que giran en torno a esta relaciуn, donde personas con talento han creado todo un universo paralelo de gran calidad, donde sus sueсos y aspiraciones con los personajes se concretan, materializбndose a travйs del arte grafico o Fanart, literatura alternativa o Fanfic, obras audiovisuales o Fanvid, etc.



Cada una de esas historias y expresiones artнsticas parten de un sueсo en comъn, y es la materializaciуn de dicha relaciуn. Por supuesto, el solo hecho de habernos brindado la oportunidad de conocer y apreciar su maravillosa obra, es premio suficiente para todos sus asiduos seguidores, por lo cual estamos agradecidos de sus grandes dotes y talentos como creadores, independientemente de cual sea el desarrollo final de la serie, pero al margen de ello quisimos compartir con ustedes, en primer lugar, nuestro gran aprecio hacia su hermosa obra, y en segundo lugar, una pequeсa parte del producto que han sembrado en la imaginaciуn de toda una generaciуn de jуvenes expresada en variadas obras, algo que los hace sembradores de anhelos y esperanzas en mъltiples vidas, por lo cual quisimos mostrar a manera de homenaje, una pequeсa parte de esas semillas espirituales que han esparcido por muchas partes del mundo.
